Phone consultation:

Finding the right therapist for you can be tricky. So, before we meet in person for an intake appointment. Let’s connect on the phone to see if we might be a good fit. (15-20 Minutes ~ Free)

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Initial assessment appointments:

The first time we meet is all about us getting to know each other better. A lot of this session will be me asking you questions to get a deeper sense of what you’re seeking therapy for, what you’re primary treatment goals are (i.e., what would signal to you that you no longer need therapy?), and different aspects of your life history. You can always tell me if there are things you’re not ready to talk about.

Initial assessment sessions are $170/50-minutes.

Individual Therapy Sessions

Individual therapy sessions are 170$/50-minutes.

RELATIONSHIP THERAPY

Initial appointments and assessments:

When starting to work with relationships I take a structured approach to our first meetings together. This involves a series of appointments, each are $185/50-minute sessions:

1. A joint session with all partners - in this first session I seek to understand your relationship difficulties or stuck points, your relationship history, and what brings you into therapy.
** At this session I will provide you with a series of questionnaires for each partner to complete to provide more information about you as individuals and your relationship.

2. Individual sessions with each partner - in these sessions I want to get to know you as an individual and the life experiences and beliefs you bring into the relationship.

3. A joint session with all partners - in the last of these initial sessions we will discuss my overall impressions across the sessions, scores from the questionnaires, and an in depth conceptualization of the relationship.

Relationship therapy sessions are $185/50-minutes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Payment

I accept cash and credit card, but can not accept checks at this time. I use IvyPay for all credit card payments to ensure HIPPA-compliant billings. We’ll set this up together.

Insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare

I am not an “in-network” provider with insurance companies. However, many of my patients are able to list me as an “out-of-network” provider.  Using this approach, you would pay for sessions and then receive reimbursement for therapy services directly from your insurance company after submitting invoices or monthly billing statements.  Because policies differ so widely, you should contact your insurance company directly to determine whether this an option for you.

As I am not a Medicare provider, Medicare will not cover services with me.

As I am not a certified Medicaid provider at this time, Medicaid will not cover services with me. I am also not permitted to accept self-pay from individuals on Medicaid.

Good Faith Estimates (GFEs)

As a result of the No Surprises Act, a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) agreement form will be sent for your review following the determination of needs. This will include an estimate of the cost you will pay over the course of your clinical services, which will be based on the estimate of services needed, duration, and potential diagnoses. Under the law, these estimates must be provided to patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance to cover costs of their treatment. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
